How to crop and merge Aadhaar front and back into one page

  1. Add both photos. Tap Select images — or drag and drop the files into the box — and choose the front and back photos of your Aadhaar card, taken with your phone camera in good light.
  2. Crop and straighten each photo. Press ✂ Crop — the box opens already positioned on the card, found automatically. Adjust the corner handles if needed, use the Tilt slider to straighten a slanted photo, and press Apply crop. Pick the ID card 85.6 × 54 preset to keep exact card proportions.
  3. Clean it. Switch to Document mode for a pure white, photocopy-style background, or nudge the brightness and contrast sliders.
  4. Join and download. Tick both images, choose Vertical, press Join images, and download the single JPG — ready to print on A4 or upload to a portal.

The same steps work for PAN cards, Voter ID, driving licences, and for joining your photo and signature into one image for online application forms.

Portal rejecting the file for being too big? Send the finished image through the resize image in KB tool — pick 20, 50, 100, 200 or 500 KB and it is compressed to fit, without ever being uploaded.

Crop your document photo before joining — free image cropper, no upload

Most phone photos of an ID card also capture the table, the floor or your hand. A cropped, tight photo prints better, uploads faster and is far less likely to be rejected. EasyJoinImage now includes a manual crop tool: add an image (tap Select images or drag & drop it), press ✂ Crop on the card, and drag the corner handles over the part you want to keep.

Crop an Aadhaar or PAN card to real card size

Choose the ID card 85.6 × 54 mm preset and the crop box locks to true CR80 card proportions, so the card keeps its correct shape instead of coming out stretched. Drag the box over the card, press Apply crop, and the cleaned, cropped card is ready to join and print.

Crop a passport-size photo to 3.5 × 4.5 cm

Exam and bank forms usually ask for a 3.5 × 4.5 cm passport photo. Pick the Photo 3.5 × 4.5 preset, drag the locked box over your face and shoulders, and apply. The proportions stay exactly right no matter how big the original photo was.

Crop a signature to 3.5 × 1.5 cm

Sign on plain white paper, photograph it, then use the Sign 3.5 × 1.5 preset to cut away the extra paper. Switch on Document mode afterwards and the paper turns pure white with a dark, clean signature — then join it below your photo for the single photo + signature image most forms want.

Straighten a tilted photo before you crop

Held the phone at an angle? Inside the crop step there is a Tilt slider (−30° to +30°, in half-degree steps, with ↺ / ↻ nudge buttons). Drag it and the photo rotates behind the crop box — line the card's edge up with one of the grid lines, position the box, and press Apply crop. Rotation and crop are applied together in one step, so a skewed, crooked Aadhaar photo comes out square and straight, like a real scan. Use the ⟳ button first if the photo is fully sideways.

Remove the background and pick any colour

Open the Background Remover from the top menu. An AI model running inside your browser detects the person and removes the background, then places the photo on any colour — white or off-white for Indian passport and most exam forms, light blue for some visa photos, or any custom colour — or gives you a transparent PNG. An Edge slider tightens or loosens the cutout around hair and shoulders. The photo never leaves your device.

Free-style crop, square crop, or the full image

Need something else? Free lets you drag any shape, Square is handy for profile pictures, and Full image resets the crop back to the whole photo. You can also rotate the photo 90° first with the ⟳ button and then crop — useful for sideways photos.

Nothing is uploaded while you crop. The cropping, rotating and cleaning all happen inside your browser on your own phone or computer, so your ID card is never sent to a server. Aadhaar card ko crop karke, saaf karke, ek page par join kijiye — bina koi app install kiye, bilkul free.

Why Aadhaar prints get rejected — and how this fixes it

Most Aadhaar merge tools only stack two pictures together. If those pictures are dark or blurry, the printout still gets rejected — and the tool just tells you to "retake in good light". EasyJoinImage cleans the photo before joining, which is where the real problem is.

Too dark or shadowy

Phone photos of cards pick up shadows and a yellow tint. Auto clean and Document mode brighten the card and lift the text, so the name, DOB and address stay readable on paper.

Blurry text or QR code

The number, name and QR are kept as sharp as the source allows, so a bank scanner can still read the code from the print.

Wrong or stretched size

Joining at random sizes makes the card come out too big or squashed. Keeping both sides at the same width (Proper align) keeps the card close to its real credit-card proportions.

For CSC centres & cyber cafés: many cards per page

Doing this all day for customers? Clean and join a customer's Aadhaar front and back in seconds, then print — no Photoshop, CorelDraw or paid scanner app. It runs in any browser on the shop PC or a phone, and because nothing is uploaded, you are not passing customer ID cards through someone else's server.

To fit several cards on one A4 sheet, join them side by side or one below the other, keep Proper align on, and print at 100% scale to save paper.

Is an A4 Aadhaar printout valid for KYC?

Yes. A clear, readable printout of your e-Aadhaar is accepted for KYC at banks, post offices, telecom stores and government offices, as long as the text and photo are clear. Most offices prefer both sides on one page, which is exactly what this makes. Sign it to self-attest and it counts as a valid photocopy. Always check the specific requirements of the office or portal you are submitting to.

Why is EasyJoinImage safer than other Aadhaar merge tools?

Aadhaar and PAN contain sensitive personal information. Most "merge Aadhaar online" websites upload your card to their servers to process it — you have no idea where those copies go.

EasyJoinImage never uploads anything. All cleaning and joining happens inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. You can even switch off the internet after the page loads and the tool keeps working. Close the tab, and everything is gone.

It is also completely free, with no watermark, no sign-up, and no app to install.

Dedicated guides for your exact form

How do I straighten a tilted or crooked photo of an ID card?

Press ✂ Crop, then drag the Tilt slider (or tap ↺ / ↻ for half-degree nudges). The photo turns behind the crop box, so you can line the card's edge up with one of the grid lines. Then drag the crop box over the straightened card and press Apply crop. Range is −30° to +30° — plenty for any hand-held phone photo.

Can I crop my signature image for an online application form?

Yes. Press ✂ Crop on the signature image and choose the Sign 3.5 × 1.5 preset. Drag the box over the signature to remove the extra white paper, apply the crop, then use Document mode to make the paper pure white.

Your browser's print dialog opens with the page already laid out for A4 — choose your printer and print, keeping the scale at 100%. Pick Actual card size and the Aadhaar prints at its true 85.6 mm width, ready to cut out. To use a shop's printer instead, download the JPG and carry it over on your phone.

Aadhaar ke aage aur peeche ko ek page par kaise print karein?

Join them here first, then open the resize image in KB tool and pick the 50 KB target (or 20 KB for a signature alone). It finds the highest quality that fits under the limit. Always check your exam's official notification — some portals also fix the pixel dimensions.

Open the Background Remover (the BG Remover button in the top menu). An AI model in your browser detects the person and removes the background — then pick any colour: white, off-white, light blue, red, a fully custom colour, or transparent PNG. Nothing is uploaded.

Will there be a watermark on my merged image?

No. The output is completely clean — no watermark, no logo, no branding — and the tool is free with no sign-up.

Does this work for PAN card, Voter ID, and driving licence too?

Yes. Any two-sided document — PAN card, Voter ID, driving licence, ration card — can be cleaned and merged into one page the same way.

How do I make a photo look like a scanned document?

Add the photo and switch it to Document mode. The background becomes white and the text dark, like a scanner or photocopy output — shadows and yellow tint are removed automatically.

What is the correct Aadhaar print size?

8.56 × 5.4 cm — the same as a credit card (CR80). Keep each side near this size, and when printing choose Actual Size / 100%, not "Fit to Page".

Why does my Aadhaar print come out the wrong size?

Your printer's "Fit to Page" or "Shrink to fit" is switched on. Turn it off and select 100% / Actual Size in the print dialog.

Is a black-and-white Aadhaar print okay for KYC?

For most KYC — bank, school, ration — a clear black-and-white copy is accepted. Sign it to self-attest. Check the office's rules if you are unsure.

What is the e-Aadhaar PDF password?

The first four letters of your name in CAPITALS plus your birth year — for example, SURE1995 for Suresh, born 1995. Download the official PDF from uidai.gov.in.

Who made this tool

I'm Ashraful. I built EasyJoinImage after watching people at cyber-cafés and CSC counters lose an afternoon trying to get an Aadhaar front and back onto one clean A4 page — usually with an app that watermarked the output or uploaded their ID to someone else's server. This tool does neither. Every image stays inside your browser.
